Brenn: What artists do you listen to on a regular basis?

Skeme: Off top you got Wayne, I'm a big time Pimp C fan R.I.P. the Pimp, Jeezy, Drake, Pharell/N.E.R.D., and I'mma T.I. fan till the end. Strangely Kate Voegele(if that's how you spell it)

Brenn: You're pretty avid about reppin Inglewood, does that play a big part of who you are?

Skeme: As a artist yeah. I grew up in Inglewood so its like really a big part of my life. My demeanor the whole nine, I rep my city with pride and I get that same love in return. I want to be the "model" of what a Inglewood nigga is.

Brenn: How do you feel about the state of hip hop at this very moment?

Skeme: I feel like it's really trying to find it's way with the new state of everything as far as business and how the Internet has effected it. I also feel like in some cases we've become so accustomed to those we deem as greats that we may be a little too biased on how we receive projects. But everything is changing and I believe that the industry is trying to get it's stability.

Brenn: If you could pick 3 people to work with asap who would it be?

Skeme: Wow 3 is a short list! And the artist is much shorter than the producers list so I guess we'll go that route. Ryan Leslie, Pharrell, and Lil Jon.

Brenn: You know you still owe me a blunt right?

Skeme: Hahaha yea I know and where I'm at kush is in abundance so the session is a must!

Brenn: On that note, we're out..looks like I've got a session to be at!!

Miss muuhfuckin sick ass Sixty

This time last year instead of working
my ass off and waking up at 6am every
morning at MAGIC, I was in NY with retarded
good seats at fashion week. Miss Sixty being
my favorite show, even over all the couture
shit. & I'm glad to report that even without
my significant presence =) Miss Sixty
has done it again.



They seem to seal the deal with the detailing
in their accessories. Scarves, belts, bangles,
caps, bags, shades, they do it all. I'm single
handedly excited about the denim jumpers,
chiffon flowy tops (I hate when shits
uncomfortably tight) & the attention that they
have yet again tastefully shown to my dear
friend plaid =)

All in all? We appreciate the look inside your head, heart & soul. & I hate to bring up the past, but Metaphorically? you are ahead of the rest. & Yess! your delivery's got you buzzin like the pizza man.

1. Lust For Life: Nice start. I don't know if I love it because I can relate to it in some off way or if it's so dope anyone can relate to it. You're honesty is additively recognized. Your metaphors are refreshing & continuously impressive.

2. Houstatlavegas: The first 2:08 is a little too radio friendly for my liking.

3. Successful: Verses, so raw. No Magnum. Metaphors and storytelling, lyrical page turner.

4. Let's Call it Off: It kind of grew on me, but seemed a little out of place with the rest of the mix-tape. Still liking Drakes bars.

5. November 18th: Is it really necessary to sound that damn sexy? C'mon Drizzy, give our panties a chance, they're expensive. =)

6. Ignant Shit: This reminds me of old Drake. It's the style that made us all fall in love with him in the fist place.

7. A Night Off: All this singing & then you have to hit us with a Lloyd duet? Cold blooded Drizzy! On an upside, I'm sure the basic bitches loved it.

8. Say What's Real: I woke up to this song for a good two weeks straight in January. It's one of those songs you quote in your daily life on a regular, or atleast I do.

9. A Little Bit: I'm into the contrast between Lykke Lii & Drake throughout the song. Their styles complimented each other somehow.

10. Best I Ever Had: It's simple, every girl wants their dude to come at them with some shit like this.

11. Unstoppable: Mr. Toronto, you're aware you flowed all over Weezy's verse right? Wayne with the same old shit, that fun-d*ck line was funny though.

12. Uptown: Drizzy + Bun B + Wayne combo? Yesss ladies & gentleman we found the anthem of the project.

13. Sooner than Later: It's sweet, it's sincere, it's old as fuck, but I love it.
